One of the main objectives of BAU International University, Batumi is to develop and implement scientific-research projects and ensure BAU students involvement in them. Currently, the University realizes scientific-research in the following directions: Immunohematology, Public Health and Pharmacokinetics. Campus BAU International University, Batumi is a university within the BAU Global Network which is comprised of 8 Universities, 16 liaison offices and 4 language schools spread in 9 countries over 4 continents.

CLINICAL EXPERIENCE BAU

International University Batumi is located close to the Health Centre “Medina “. This will enable us to provide the best education for the medical students, as they will receive clinical experience from the first year of their education. Furthermore, students have the opportunity to acquire skills for cadaver dissection in anatomy.

All library transactions are realized online and records are electronically kept. The mentioned library counts 144.546 e-books and 113 databases with access to 56.000 journals. Candidates must have passed higher secondary examination with Science subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Admission Process at BAU International University Batumi

Step 1: Complete the online application provided by the University. or Fill out the course registration form from our website then we will be doing all the below steps .
Step 2: Print out the application. Send the signed form along with the required documents listed below to the university.
Step 3: Scan the documents and email them to the admissions office with a subject line of 'Application for Admission' in the body of the email.
Step 4: Documents can be submitted only until the application deadline. Be sure to submit all documents before the final submission date.
Step 5: After verification of the student's documents by Medical University, the University will send the student the acceptance or rejection letter accordingly.
Step 6: Payment of initial fees should be done once the candidate is accepted. Upon receiving the acknowledgment letter, the student will receive their fee.
Step 7: Students have to do the following documentation translation, apostle attestation of the basic documents of education.

University has a very good hostel campus with free Wifi access. Accommodations for students are available as singles, doubles and triples. Additionally, there are separate hostels for women and men. All hostels are furnished with beds, chairs, tables, and other necessary items. Facilities within the campus include a supermarket, a clinic, a pharmacy, etc. The hostel is monitored by CCTV 24 hours a day. For Indian students on campus, Mess is also available. Climate
Batumi is distinguished by a seacoast humid subtropical climate. Winters are cold without snow and summers are warm to hot. The average annual temperature is 15 C, 7 C in January and 23 C in August. Annual precipitation is 2.560 mm. Relative humidity is 81%. There are frequent showers. It rarely snows, and when it does it melts very quickly. The average annual water temperature is 17 C at the shore. Cool breezes blowing from the sea moderate the temperature in the summer. A small natural lake is located in Batumi in the 6 May Park. Various types of subtropical plants are spread throughout Batumi and its vicinity. There are many cultivated parks, tea plantations and citrus plantations. Indigenous Colchis natural trees and shrubs have been preserved in select areas around the region.

Most Georgians do not use central heating, so although the day temperature can be warm, bring warm clothes for sleeping at night.

Cuisine
Local cuisine is distinguished by its diversity and cooking technology, table-laying and relevant rituals. It has always been complemented with fruit, viticulture and bee keeping products as well as local fish. There are almost 150 types of dishes registered in the region. The cuisine has numerous Asian influences. Dairy products are prevalent in the highlands. The most popular local dishes are: borano (cheese melted in butter), chirbuli (breakfast with eggs and walnut) and sinori (a dish with cottage curds and dough plates). A visit to Batumi is unimaginable without Ajarian khachapuri, a dish with a distinctive shape. The bread bowl resembles a boat, while an egg yolk inside represents the sun. Varieties of local sweet pastry are also famous, especially baklava and shakarlama (sugar pastry).

In Georgia all payments are realized in a national currency - Georgian Lari (GEL). The most common method of payments is by cash, especially in regions and village. Plastic cards are usable only in cities. Foreign currencies can be converted at Banks and special currency exchange points (mainly in cities).
