About Medical University
SEGi University & Colleges (SEGi) is a private tertiary institution for accounting, early childhood. engineering, business etc. in Kota Damansara, Selangor. SEGi is one of the largest private higher education providers in Malaysia. It was known as SEGi University College until 2012, when the Ministry of Education announced its upgrade to university status.
SEGi has five campuses, which are in UEP Subang Jaya, Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Sarawak. SEGi's main campus, in Kota Damansara, houses several faculties including Business, Technology and Innovation, Creative Arts and Design, and Dentistry. The newly built Kota Damansara MRT Station is within the institution's doorstep, providing easy access to students from Petaling Jaya and Kuala Lumpur. The campus has facilities including an academic library and swimming pool. It can accommodate up to 12,000 students.
An extension building known as SEGi Tower is a few hundred metres away to accommodate an additional 6,000 students. Students life at SEGI University Malaysia
There are two phases in the curriculum; the Medical Sciences Phase (Phase 1) which is the first two years of study, and the Clinical Phase (Phase 2) which is carried out in three subsequent years of study. Each phase is strategized to have four blocks and the modules/postings are repackaged and rearranged as follows.
The Medical Sciences Phase, also known as Pre-clinical Phase, consists of four blocks which are block 1 (Foundation in Medical Sciences), block 2 (Introduction to Behavioral Science, Clinical, and Community Medicine), block 3 (System-Based Medical Sciences I), and block 4 (System-Based Medical Sciences II).
The Clinical Phase also comprises 4 Blocks which spans over 3 years. These blocks are designated as block 5 (Junior Clerkship), block 6 (Specialty Clerkship I), block 7 (Specialty Clerkship II), and block 8 (Senior clerkship). For contents of each block, please refer to the modules below. Throughout the 5 years of study, subjects on soft skills development are also incorporated such as communication skills, behavioral science, team building, critical thinking, problem solving, leadership, and management.

Admission Process at SEGI University Malaysia

Step 1: Complete the online application provided by the University. or Fill out the course registration form from our website then we will be doing all the below steps .

Step 2: Print out the application. Send the signed form along with the required documents listed below to the university.

Step 3: Scan the documents and email them to the admissions office with a subject line of 'Application for Admission' in the body of the email.

Step 4: Documents can be submitted only until the application deadline. Be sure to submit all documents before the final submission date.

Step 5: After verification of the student's documents by Medical University, the University will send the student the acceptance or rejection letter accordingly.

Step 6: Payment of initial fees should be done once the candidate is accepted. Upon receiving the acknowledgment letter, the student will receive their fee.

Hostel And Mess Facilities available at SEGI University Malaysia
University has a very good hostel campus with free Wifi access. Accommodations for students are available as singles, doubles and triples. Additionally, there are separate hostels for women and men. All hostels are furnished with beds, chairs, tables, and other necessary items. Facilities within the campus include a supermarket, a clinic, a pharmacy, etc. The hostel is monitored by CCTV 24 hours a day. For Indian students on campus, Mess is also available. All students are subject to strict hostel rules. The hostel also serves Indian food.

Temperatures tend to be cooler in the highlands, with the likes of Genting Highlands, Cameron Highlands and Fraser's Hill having temperatures ranging from about 17°C/62.6 ºF at night to about 25°C/77 ºF in the day. Mount Kinabalu is known to have temperatures falling below 10°C/50 ºF.
