About Medical University

The University of St. La Salle (USLS) is a Catholic private research university run by the De La Salle Brothers, located in La Salle Avenue, Bacolod, Philippines. Established in 1952 as La Salle College - Bacolod, it is the second oldest campus founded by the congregation in the country (first and oldest outside of Manila).

The university is a member of De La Salle Philippines, a network established in 2006 comprising 16 Lasallian educational institutions in the Philippine islands. The university offers preschool, elementary, secondary (junior & senior high), undergraduate, and graduate programs. It has seven colleges namely: Business and Accountancy, Engineering and Technology, Arts and Sciences, Education, Nursing, Law, and Medicine.

The University of St. La Salle, a non-stock and non-profit corporation, was established in 1952 by three American Brothers under the Philippine Province of the Brothers of the Christian Schools, an international institute of religious Brothers dedicated to the human and Christian education of the young, especially the poor.

In commemorating our 69th founding year, we look back on our journey as a Lasallian community-- we have celebrated so many milestones, triumphs and overcame challenges together. The past year has brought on unprecedented difficulties and uncertainties, and has changed our University in so many ways; but, together as one USLS community, we have kept on with our Lasallian education Mission with fervent Faith, Zeal for Service and Communion in Mission As we move forward into the post pandemic normal, we will continue to live out the Miracle of Touching Hearts. The school's 10-hectare main campus in La Salle Avenue houses the university's college and graduate school units. The USLS Health Sciences Campus, located at Lacson St., is an additional facility for students under its Nursing and Medicine program. Its other campus, the 55-hectare Granada Campus, is home to the Agribusiness Farm and the Science Ecological Park, which caters to its Agribusiness students.

USLS offers preschool, elementary, secondary, undergraduate and graduate level programs. La Salle offers academic programs under Business, Law, the Social Sciences, Psychology, Medicine, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Engineering, Nursing, Education, and Hospitality Management. Eligibility Criteria for Admission at University of Saint La Salle

Candidates must have passed higher secondary examination with Science subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Candidates must have an aggregate of 50% in PCB or more in your 12th results.
Students must be 17 years or more for medical education in this university.

Admission Process at University of Saint La Salle

Step 1: Complete the online application provided by the University. or Fill out the course registration form from our website then we will be doing all the below steps .
Step 2: Print out the application. Send the signed form along with the required documents listed below to the university.
Step 3: Scan the documents and email them to the admissions office with a subject line of 'Application for Admission' in the body of the email.
Step 4: Documents can be submitted only until the application deadline. Be sure to submit all documents before the final submission date.
Step 5: After verification of the student's documents by Medical University, the University will send the student the acceptance or rejection letter accordingly.
Step 6: Payment of initial fees should be done once the candidate is accepted. Upon receiving the acknowledgment letter, the student will receive their fee.
Step 7: Students have to do the following documentation translation, apostle attestation of the basic documents of education.

Hostel And Mess Facilities available at University of Saint La Salle

University has a very good hostel campus with free Wifi access. Accommodations for students are available as singles, doubles and triples. Additionally, there are separate hostels for women and men. All hostels are furnished with beds, chairs, tables, and other necessary items. Facilities within the campus include a supermarket, a clinic, a pharmacy, etc. The hostel is monitored by CCTV 24 hours a day. For Indian students on campus, Mess is also available. All students are subject to strict hostel rules. The hostel also serves Indian food.
